Petroleum Engineering Students’ Association is the official student representative body within the Oil and Natural Gas Engineering Department at Takoradi Technical University.
The Association was established following the inception of the Oil and Natural Gas Engineering Department to create an appropriate body for channeling student concerns and grievances to the departmental leadership. It contributes significantly to departmental policies and decisions that affect the student body, ensuring the welfare of its members across academic, social, and spiritual domains.

Petroleum Engineering Students Association (PESA) in collaboration with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) organized an insightful field trip to TechnipFMC’s facility at the Takoradi Harbour. This academic-industry engagement was designed to expose students to the practical operations, technological systems, and professional standards of one of the world’s leading providers of subsea, surface, and offshore engineering solutions.
